Wrong Side of Town

    "You're on the wrong side of town, doll."
    Three jerks teasing and toying with a young woman who was trying her best to stand up to the group, wasn't exactly what Zach planned to deal with that night. But hey. He's always said he's got a flexible schedule.
It took a few harsh (and very impolite) insults and a few punches to send the little group scattering, spewing apologizes to the young woman who looked to Zach, thankful he'd intervened.
    "Thanks for the help," she told him appreciatively. "I was supposed to meet someone around here, but they canceled on me and I think I got a little turned around trying to get back to my hotel."
    "Not from around here?" he assumed and she nodded. "You don't have any friends around here? You really shouldn't be in this part of time by yourself."
    "No, I'm sort of...on vacation, I guess you could say. Though it's been pretty dull so far."
    "Dull?" he asked, quirking a brow at her. "You're calling my town dull?" She thought, at first, that he was offended, until she saw him smirk in a playful sort of way.
    "Well, I  haven't seen anything exciting." she told him, giving him a smile.
    "That's a downright shame." he held out his hand to her. "I'm Zachary. But most just call me Zach."
    "I'm Rochelle," She shook his hand and added with a grin, "I think I'll stick to Zachary."
    He shrugged his shoulders and settled his hands in his pockets. "Since you think my town is so dull I feel obliged to show you around. I mean, the night life is pretty great around here if you know what you're looking for."
    "And I assume you know what you're looking for?"
    "I've long-since found it." he told her and she laughed. "What do ya say to letting me buy you a drink then, miss Rochelle?" he asked with a charming smile that won her over a little too easily. "I promise you, I am better company then those three goons that were buggin' you earlier."
    "I can already see that," she responded. "but you know what, Zachary. I haven't got anything special planned, so I think I'll take you up on that offer."

because i wanted them to meet so bad
and there's probably an age gap of some sort
Rochelle being years younger but whatever idc
