Lil Jack

got this guy from and gave him a lil revamp <3


Jack is a very reserved kind of guy. He came from a family of military men, and when his time came, he unwillingly joined them. He has never been able to be good enough for his family, he was always the odd-one-out when it came to family events. So even though he didn't want to, he joined the military to please his father and try to fit in with his family...even just slightly.
He did well in the military and despite still being an oddball among his mates, he was content for a time. That is, until he and a group of men were attacked, overpowered, and taken as prisoners.
He and the men were held in an underground bunker. They were beaten and tortured and one by one, the men broke. They lost one to their captor's gun, another two were taken away and never came back. And when it dwindled down to Jack and his two friends, they all sort of became more worried and panicked. And, being the usual oddball, Jack was pushed away from the other two guys. And he was completely oblivious to the plan they had made to escape. So when the time came, and they managed a break out, Jack was left behind to their endure captor's wrath. (He and his captor later developed a sort of odd bond though)
After spending months in captivity, counting away the days and doing his best to survive, he was finally found and rescued.

He came home to his family who instantly stuck to his side and was so happy to see he was alive. But despite healing quickly physically, the whole experience left him with a bunch of emotional scars.
He doesn't trust anyone anymore. He comes off as really cold-hearted and careless. Jack is often alone and quiet and even strays away from his family when he can. He suffers a lot from nightmares and flashbacks and can get a little irritable at times. He suffers from minor depression and has good days and bad days dealing with that. Despite his family offering to help him, he refuses to accept help and insists that nothing is wrong.

Despite his hard outside, he's got an unwavering drive to help. And will rush into the most dangerous situations to save innocent lives. He's a natural born hero and cannot ignore a cry for help. If one would take the time and use patience to get close to him, they'd find Jack can be a very protective, very loyal guy. He just hasn't had anyone get close enough to him yet. Which just might be what this tough guy needs to loosen him up.
