It's Okay

    Hale woke with a start, sitting straight up in his bed. He groaned, glancing over at the clock that read 3:30AM. He sighed and pulled himself out of bed, yawning as he quietly made his way out of his room and down the hallway. He was surprised to find the kitchen light was still on. The anthro wolf mix stepped into the kitchen, perking an ear when he noticed Zach was still awake.
    Zach perked his ears and turned around, looking at Hale with his head tilted slightly, completely surprised to see Hale awake. "Uhm.." Zach said a little awkwardly. "I..couldn't sleep..." He glanced back at the counter. "There's coffee if you want some?"
    Hale didn't say anything, he just quietly shuffled over to the counter to stand beside Zach. He started to make himself a cup of coffee.
    Zach glanced down at him, noticing something was wrong immediately. "Hey," he said lightly. "You okay?"
    Hale nodded slowly. "Just.." he took a small glance up at Zach before turning back to his coffee. "Nightmare woke me up."
    "Oh.." Zach sighed. "Sorry.."
    Hale shrugged and ever-so-slightly leaned his shoulder against Zach's. He pulled his ears back and just stared into his coffee mug, lost in his own thoughts. Zach watched him for a moment, then he put his arm around him and pulled him closer to him.    
    "It was just a dream.." Zach said lightly. "Everything's okay..I promise everything is okay.."
